**HOTSPUR CLUB SANDAKAN: REUNION 2010 AT TAWAU
This event took place in Tawau as scheduled from 28 August to 1 September 2010. A total of 18 former members/spouses of the club attended the functions. It was a very successful gathering and due credit must be given to the joint organisers Patrick Chin and Elizabeth Tai.

**The Venue
The participants occupied 4 units at at Kuhara Court Apartment Suite located at Mile 1, Jalan Apas. Most of the indoor fellowship activities took place there.

After a very heavy rain which lasted several hours in the early morning of 28 Aug, many parts of Tawau were severely flooded. AS a result, some events adversely affected by soggy conditions had to be scratched. Our organizers had to arrange alternative activities to replace them.

**Visit to Hotspring Park
(30 Aug)
The two major activities cancelled as a result of the very heavy rains on the early morning of 28 Aug were:-
(a) the visit to the Balung Resort and
(b)the visit to the Teck Guan Cocoa Village.
This visit to the Hotspring Park replaced one of the cancelled events.

**Visit to Tawau Hotspring Golf Club
(31 Aug)
This programme replaced one of the activities scrapped earlier (visit to to Teck Guan Cocoa Village). The club was located some 10 km along the Sin On-Tiku Road.

Entertainment was provided by Mr. Mohd Ali Lee, whose band strummed out a repertoire of oldies from the 60's. This really rejuvenated all of us back to our teens!
